DO Recruitment is delighted to be retained as an exclusive recruitment partner for a well-established
and privately owned construction business who are seeking to appoint a Contract Support
Administrator.
You will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be working closely with and alongside all
members of the management team.
Roles and responsibilities:
 Responsible for ensuring that all administration duties within the department are actioned
in a timely manner and cost effective manner
 Register each drawing and print for the Site and Contract Managers and email each relevant
drawing to individual sub-contractors
 Update iSite software with all project drawings and registers
 Produce monthly an up to date O&M Manual list with handover dates to ensure manuals
can be set up/sent out on time
 Set up manuals producing project directory, sub-contractor list, requesting ‘As Built’
drawings, materials list and making folders ready for sub-contractor information
 Chase sub-contractors for outstanding information
 Produce letters for end user/CDM Co-ordinator, along with CD copies of manual
 Taking and producing minutes – Internal handover projects and Contracts Managers
production meetings
 Administrator and uploading of all projects onto ISite software
 Notification of award of contracts
 Photocopying, binding and archiving of documents
 Setting up office and site files for new projects
 Attend Hospitality/Events
 Submitting sub-contractor lists weekly
 Updating and maintaining spreadsheets
 Providing Contracts Managers with any ad-hoc administrative tasks
 Setting up appraisals for subcontractors
 Cover holidays/sickness on reception when required
 Carefully plan holidays to ensure the department is adequately resourced
Ideal Candidate:
 Previous experience gained within a construction company/main contractor and the
production and updating of sub-contractor operational manuals is essential
 Accurate, hardworking and a team player
 Proven ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks to ensure timely completion of
all activities
 Good written, verbal communication and IT skills
