DO Recruitment are delighted to be retained as recruitment partner for a fast-growing design & build, main contractor within the construction sector. As part of their next phase of planned expansion, they now seek to appoint an experienced Planning Manager to join their team based in London.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· To be part of the pre-construction team on the preparation of tender packages, this includes programme, prelims, site layouts & logistics, scaffold schedule & access plans, method statements, tender interviews and client meetings.

· Compiling the tender programme using Asta power project on a diverse range of projects types between £5m and £30m in value. Must have experience of working in a very busy environment on 2 – 3 schemes at any one time.

· Preparing project logistics plans – location of fencing/hoarding, accommodation, crane, lay down area and traffic routes.

· Preparing project preliminaries (site running costs)

· Working closely with the Estimating team and accustomed to meeting tight deadlines.

· Attending tender adjudication meetings with the Directors team and the proposed delivery team.

Ideal Candidate:

You will need to demonstrate a proven track record in Pre-Construction within a design & build, main contracting environment. Possess excellent knowledge of Asta Power Project. You will be a high performing individual with strong references to prove themselves on some of London’s interesting mixed-use schemes.
